I'm so glad I didn't give up. This year I was becoming more of a Heros fan because Lost doesn't supply answers. Heros finale was a letdown. Especially, compared to Lost's finale but I guess that's not quite fair to compare a show in it's first season to one in its third.
Lost's finale was incredible. Mostly because the writers are so damn original. They get major points for being willing to completely re-work the show format. Talk about killing sacred cows.
It looks like the show will now take place in the future with flashbacks to the island. The funeral parlor was an easter egg - Hoffs/Drawler is an anagram for Flash Forward.
The fanboys are all abuzz with a few key questions like
- Is Jack's father dead?
- Whose funeral did Jack attend for a person that Kate obviously doesn't care about?
- Will there be a third faction they have to fight from the ship?
- When Kate says, "He's going to wonder where I am?", is she talking about Sawyer?
- Does the kid Jack pulled from the burning car look like Juliet's nephew?
- Were Jin and Sun sitting behind Jack on the plane on the first flashforward?
Which brings me to my one frustration - more questions!!! Arrgghhh. How does one keep track of all the questions anymore?
Maybe I love the frustration bedause last night was awesome. And Hurley in that VW Van rocked!
